My name is Meho Husic. I live in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am currently studying at the Faculty of veterinary medicine in Sarajevo.
I fell in love with siberian huskies when I lived in USA (from 1997 to 1999). When I returned to Bosnia I wanted to buy a siberian husky. For two years I was looking to buy a puppy. In 2002 my wish was fulfilled, I got a siberian husky. The name of that female was (and still is) Lila. I bought her as a pet, but somehow ended up at the international dog show in Sarajevo (CACIB Sarajevo 2002). The show was not a success, to say the least. But one good thing came out of it; I realized that my future is breeding and showing dogs. The next year we went to another show (this time a national dog show held in a little town of Vitez in central Bosnia). Lila won in her class, it was a big thing for us. That same year (2003) Lila had her first litter. I kept a female (called Bini). As a novice I had great expectations with her. She was shown during 2004, she finished her Junior championship. Her brother from the litter finished his championship too. I soon realized that without investing in a new dog I was getting nowhere. I turned to my friend Mirjana Prpic (Siberian Lady kennel). At that time (early 2005) she had a litter from her Int CH female Tricky Nicky of Siberian Lady (a Rockland's Starr Attraction daughter). I bought a silver male puppy (Gentle Boy of Siberian Lady). Really quickly he finished his Junior championship with numerous J.BIS wins and also BIS placements. At only 18 months of age he finished his adult Bosnian championship. To date he is a BIS and BISS winner.
Best wishes and a pleasant stay.
